Nacionalni park Đerdap se nalazi u severoistočnom delu Srbije, na granici sa Rumunijom, pod zaštitom države je od 1974. godine i zauzima površinu od 63.786,48 ha na teritoriji opština Golubac, Majdanpek i Kladovo. Nacionalni park Đerdap možete upoznati ukoliko prošetate jednom od uređenih pešačkih staza koje prolaze kroz zanimljive predele i završavaju na atraktivnim vidikovcima ili obilaskom Centra za posetioce u Donjem Milanovcu. Na Đerdapu možete uživati u rekreativnom ribolovu, lovu, kao i u posmatranju ptica i divljih životinja. Đerdap pruža brojne mogućnosti za pešačenje. Pešačke staze različitih dužina koje prolaze kroz atraktivne predele, rezervate prirode i završavaju se na vidikovcima, pravi su način da upoznate Nacionalni park Đerdap. Različite po dužini i usponu, neke od staza nude pešačenje bez mnogo napora, a ima i onih koji zahtevaju veću kondiciju. Staze su obeležena planinarskim oznakama, sa informativnim tablama, a uz čuvare JP „Nacionalni park Đerdap”, korišćenje pešačkih staza je pravi doživljaj. Izuzev staze Zlatno jezero, preostale uređene i obeležene staze u Nacionalnom parku Đerdap su u najstrožem stepenu zaštite i u skladu sa odredbama Zakona o zaštiti prirode i Pravilnika o unutrašnjem redu, pratnja čuvara zaštićenog područja je obavezna. Javno preduzeće „NP Đerdap“ iznajmljuje terensko vozilo, a obilazak uz stručnu pratnju potrebno je prethodno najaviti . The Djerdap National Park is located in the northeastern part of Serbia, on the border with Romania, has been under state protection since 1974 and occupies an area of 63,786.48 ha in the municipalities of Golubac, Majdanpek, and Kladovo. You can explore the Djerdap National Park if you walk along one of the marked walking trails that pass through interesting landscapes and lead to breathtaking viewpoints; or by a tour of the Visitor Centre in Donji Milanovac. At the Iron Gate, you can enjoy recreational fishing, hunting as well as birds and wildlife watching. Djerdap offers many opportunities for walking. Walking trails of various lengths that pass through breathtaking landscapes, nature reserves and end at the viewpoints, are a way to explore the Djerdap National Park. Different in length and rise, some of the trails offer hiking without much effort, and there are also those that require greater fitness. The trails are marked with mountaineering signs and information boards, and accompanied by National Park ranges, the use of the trails is an unforgettable experience. Except the Golden Lake trail, all marked hiking trails in Djerdap National Park are in 1st degree protection regime. Therefore, according to the Law of Nature Protection and Ordinance on internal order, the accompany of ranger for using these trails is required. Public enterprise „Djerdap National Park” rents sport utility vehicles, and you need to announce a tour with expert guidance.
