Bloomerside Preserve is 63 acres with two main trails encompassing wetlands, uplands, and a mixed hardwood forest. With about 2 miles of marked trails this protected area is an easy to moderate walk suitable for hiking, skiing, snow shoeing and horseback riding. Off street parking is available for several cars along Bloomer Road and limited parking is available at the neighboring Middle/High School on June Rd. Wheeled vehicles are prohibited and dogs are welcome but must be kept on leash. This conservation area is owned and maintained by North Salem Open Land Foundation.
