Situated on border of Botswana Robins Camp is the most remote section of Hwange National Park. Although mostly inaccessible during the rainy season (November-March), Robins is a beautiful haven for wildlife consisting of rolling hills, beautful kalahari forests, vast open vleis and dense mopani forests. Hwange National Park is a national park located 110km South of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. At 14,651 sq km in size, it boasts all of the Big 5 as well as other ungulates such sable, roan, kudu, eland, bushbuck, zebra, giraffe and many more. Since 2009 Bhejane Trust has been operating within the Hwange National Park, reviving water points, building infrastructure and monitoring the black rhino population. Part of the proceeds from this map go towards Bhejane Trust to assist parks to maintain facilities within the park. WARNING During the wet/green season (November-March), roads in Robins Section become extremely wet and impassable with a high likelihood of getting stuck. Fees may apply if rescue is required. *Before driving off the Main Road at any time of year, it is important to seek local advice on the condition of all the roads within this part of the park.
