This set of six trail maps covers all of Humboldt Redwoods State Park as well as several smaller redwood parks. Most of Humboldt Redwoods is shown on the main "Humboldt Central" map, while smaller North and South maps cover the panhandle sections of the park that extend along the Eel River. Two additional maps cover the parks along the Eel River just south of Humboldt Redwoods: John B. Dewitt Redwoods, Benbow, Richardson Grove, Smith Redwoods, and Standish-Hickey. A final map covers Grizzly Creek Redwoods and Van Duzen County Park. This is the largest-scale and most detailed map of Humboldt Redwoods. All official hiking trails were drawn from newly-acquired GPS data with a resolution of about 250 feet. Areas of old-growth redwoods are shaded in dark green. Trail mileages are marked and most streets that have names are labeled. Unofficial trails and dirt roads are shown and are greyed out to distinguish them from official hiking trails. To help you keep track of your location, the map shows the locations of memorial grove markers, footbridges, panoramic viewpoints, and stairs. A UTM grid is provided to help with GPS navigation.
