Explore the majestic bushland slopes below the George Christie playing fields in southern Wahroonga. From the sandstone woodland on the ridge down to the tall forest of along the Lane Cove River, this walk takes you through some beautiful parts of the Lane Cove National Park. A moderately challenging walk with some steep climbs, it is recommended for adults and teens with a moderate level of fitness and bushwalking experience. Older children (7+ years) with a high level of fitness and bushwalking experience might also enjoy it, however it's not recommended for younger children, those with impaired mobility, wheelchairs, walkers, or prams. There are some major creek crossings that may be impassable after prolonged or heavy rain.
