Description:
The Ridge Crest Trail starts by descending into a creek bed, complete with stepping stones over muddy springs making their way to the creek below. A wood platform makes it easy to cross the creek and begin the ascent to the top of the bluff. At the top of the bluff, near the power poles, there is a stone bench overlooking the city. At the end of the trail is another overlook. From the bench on this rocky outcrop above a goat prairie you can see Waterford Valley, Mt. La Crosse, and the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
