Millstream Chichester National Park offers a landscape of rolling hills and escarpments that surround oases of deep gorges, tree-lined rivers and water pools. The Park covers an area of approximately 200,000 hectares around the Fortescue River. The permanent waters of the Park are created by the run-off from the Hamersley Ranges flowing via the river into an underground aquifer. The heartland of the Yindjibarndi people, the Park has over 120 species of bird, 30 species of mammal, 150 species of reptile and 500 species of plants. This map covers the Millstream Precinct, a recreation area in the south west of the Park. The map provides details of all Park facilities, including the Visitor's Centre, campgrounds, trails, lookouts and places of interest.
