This map details the Roaring Fork River from its headwaters near Aspen to its confluence with the Colorado River in Glenwood Springs. It also details the world famous Frying Pan River from Ruedi Reservoir to its confluence with the Roaring Fork River in Basalt. Working with local area fishing guides and fly shops we have created a one of a kind map detailing every public fishing access point, boat put in, take out, camping area, parking area and more. Rivers are shaded on both sides either red or green. Green indicates public water, red indicates private land. This map is a must have for any fishermen in Colorado. The Roaring Fork is classified as Wild Trout Waters and Gold Medal Waters from Hallum Lake (near Aspen) downstream to Upper Woody Creek Bridge. Access the river from the Rio Grande Trail, which runs along the north side of the Fork. It is classified as Gold Medal Water again from the confluence with Crystal River and downstream to the confluence with the Colorado River. The Frying Pan River is another Gold Medal Waters classified destination. There is quite a bit of public access along this river. Portions of the river are on forest land, some on state land and others have access rights through the Division of Wildlife. Check out our X Guard Face Covers.
