Description:

Spend more time fishing and less time searching for locations to fish. Has all Federal, State, County and City Public lands. USFS and BLM. We include fishermen access and parking locations found on no other maps. We have worked with local area flyshops and guides to design this highly informative, up to date and GPS accurate map. Included on all our maps are boat put ins and takeouts, rapid locations, campgrounds, picnic areas, insect hatch charts, and some maps with flyshop names and numbers. That is one Handy Map! The San Juan River in New Mexico is a world class trout stream below Navajo Reservoir. This map depicts all public fishing access sites, boat launches, parking areas, trails, fishing hole locations and names, fly shop locations, insect hatch chart and fishing regulations. The San Juan River is a fishery that everyone should experience. In the top 4 miles of river below the dam, there are over 20,000 fish per mile, averaging 17 inches in length. The river is big by New Mexico standards but very easy to wade and, with the density of fish being so great, long casts are not usually necessary.
