Description:
Sedona has been a highly prized recreation destination for decades, but in the last few years it has become even more so. Although the trails are excellent, the real draw of Sedona has always been its unique, incredible scenery of red rock canyons, spires, and buttes. This map covers south of Sedona to the Village of Oak Creek, north through Oak Creek Canyon to the Oak Creek Canyon Vista, and west to the Sycamore Canyon trailhead. It is designed primarily for visitors who are hiking, and includes brief descriptions for 21 local dayhikes. At least a couple new trails are built every year around Sedona. Because of that, this map is updated about once per year. Beartooth Publishing has been making international award winning trail maps since 1995. All of our maps include trails, trail mileages, roads, recreation sites, and other area information. They are topographic and incorporate shaded relief and hypsometric (change in elevation) coloring. All trails are color coded to show which types of uses are allowed. Our maps are revised and updated every one to two years.
