Located in southwestern Connecticut, the Ives Trail and Greenway is an 18 mile hiking trail and greenway connecting the towns of Ridgefield, Danbury, Bethel and Redding. The trail is named after Charles Ives (1874-1954), one of America's most influential composers and native of Danbury. The CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has recognized the IT&G as one of Connecticut's officially designated greenways.
